The National Association of Black Manicurists was established to address the distinct challenges experienced by Black nail technicians and salon owners. Our founder began her career in 2017, navigating an industry with limited mentorship and representation. Recognizing the need for community, support, and practical education tailored to Black professionals in the nail industry, the NABM was created to bridge this gap and provide a dedicated space for Black nail techs to connect, learn, and grow.

Our Vision

“To build an institution where black-owned nail salons are plentiful and competitive. To empower Black nail technicians to build and expand their businesses, this becoming a leading force in the nail industry."
